The jewelry I create reflects my connection to the past and my involvement in our Piikani traditional ways of knowing. The pictograph stylized images are intended to jog the memory of the keeper so he may relate the story in detail and this is the inspiration of my work. Through my designs, the stories and teachings of my grandmothers and grandfathers will be carried on. It is contemporary jewelry, with Blackfoot traditional design elements in silver metal.
