Soaps, Etc. is more than 10 years in the making. After my son was born, my cousin gave me some organic baby lotions to use and I loved them so I started experimenting on my own line of products. I began with baby foods. My husband was in the military and because I was not working, money was almost non-existent. When I found out we were expecting our daughter, I had to figure out ways to budget even more. I cut corners where I could and one was making my own bath products.
As my kids got older, I enlisted their help with making things I gave to family and friends. People would tell me to start a business and sell this stuff", but I was always too busy to actually sit down and make a business work. I finally gave it some real thought, since I've always wanted to run my own business, and this is where I am now.
I love to make lotions, body sprays, body wash, soaps, scented bath salts and face wash. My kids are constantly telling me to try to make different things (I personally think they do it to challenge me) so I will be adding lots more items to the site as I make them so check back often!
P.S. All of my products are NOT testing on animals, instead I use friends and family to help tweak my recipes :)
