My love for arts and crafts began when I was a little girl watching my grandmother use beads and crochet to make the most amazing things – beaded doilies, blankets, sweaters, hats, and more – all without a pattern of any kind. I truly believe that I acquired my beading skills from this strong and beautiful woman.
I've painted, done pottery, and sculpting but several years ago, I realized that my passion lay with crafting jewelry. I began taking classes, buying books and patterns, and watching tons of videos. I started making jewelry – with a vengeance(LOL) – giving much of it away to family and friends as well as doing craft shows.
In addition, I began designing my own high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces using seed, glass, natural gemstones, and ceramic beads. People continue to stop me and ask where I get the jewelry that I wear and I'm proud to say that I make it myself.
