Jenn Mele's jewelry & more
Inspired by the earth – hand crafted with pride
About me: I have been fascinated with rocks, crystals and the earth since I was 10 years old. I collected and tumbled rocks from the time I was 12. I earned my bachelor's degree in geology. I prospected Herkimer diamonds to help pay the bills. As an undergraduate student I took jewelry making class as an elective in college and was hooked. Even though I worked as an environmental scientist, I always kept jewelry making as a hobby. Eventually, my career path changed and I now teach middle school science. However, my creative side is still alive. I still prospect for fun and am still inspired by geology and nature. I create unique one of a kind pieces. All my hand crafted items are made of natural stones and crafted with pride.
Jewelry care guide: As with all jewelry; metals, stones and gems can be damaged. It is not recommended to swim, use chemicals, or sleep while wearing jewelry. Jewelry can be cleaned with jewelry cleaner or wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. With proper care your piece will bring years of enjoyment.
