On October 8, 2016, a group of ceramic students who consists of veterans and non-veterans decided to participate in the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, Craft Fair. This was our first public venture to experience selling our handmade ceramic dish ware, pots, and sculptures to the public. However, before this we had been participating at the Antelope Valley College, Art Department's Ceramic Sale. We decided as individual artists to use Clunk Works Pottery to represent us as a whole. It would not only represent handmade pottery products, but it would also incorporate handmade glass products, as well as items made out of metal, and mixed media.
Philana Walker, has officially become the owner of Clunk Works Pottery. However, with the help of independent artists such as Paula Rubio-Diaz, Helen Sarkisian, Dawn Smith, and Jamie Wulff, Clunk Works Pottery is able to offer a variety of handmade items.
