Hi! My name is Sara Jolise Burton. I am the proud owner and primary photographer of Jolise Photography. I am also wife to a loving husband and mother a beautiful baby girl. I also have a classic mutt of a dog named Jethro. They are my world and I can't imagine life without them.
Many people ask where I thought up the name of my business; "Jolise Photography." Well, it's middle name, more specifically, my father's name, Joe, and my mother's name Lise, combined. How cool is that!? I would never be where I am today without their love and support.
Before my family began, I attended Stetson University and graduated **** Laude in 2009 with a double major in Fine Arts and French and a minor in Art History. While at Stetson, my senior thesis demonstrated the diversity of life and the beauty of individuals. Through my photography, it is my intention to continue to capture this vast array of personalities through creativity and fun.
Life isn't perfect but it's beautiful. I want my photographs to reflect the charming imperfections each person experiences every day. I am not striving to capture the "flawless traditional portrait," but rather the real moments in life.
