Jay Henley & Stone Broke
Jay D. Henley, a native of Maryland a country music recording artist/songwriter performing for over 10 years with Stone Broke.
"The crisp riffs and melodic harmonies throughout THIS’LL BE A MEMORY' flow magnificently, and Jay's emotion is pouring through his vocals.
His JR CD provides the driving up-tempo tribute to love, faith and strength was written by Aaron Scherz and produced by Nashville Producer Charlie Craig along at Row Top Studio. His strong and vibrant voice is the perfect match for the powerful lyric and high-energy track
"I love songs that have a strong message," said Mr. Henley. "Particularly songs about heartbreak, hope, love and the determination to accomplish things against all odds.
When Henley bounds onto the stage and from the first note of his silky smooth voice sweeps over the audience and, no matter how you try you will find yourself rocking with the music. He can hip sway with the best, and takes in the ladies' screams with a hearty laugh, throwing t-shirts with his image out into the crowd with great delight. His band moves with him effortlessly like a well oiled machine, transforming his performance into his own. The group harmonies are flawless and well blended together. Jay Henley takes on the task as he seemingly does with everything else, in stride and at ease. He proved he has the chops to take on much more than party tunes with his fourth song, a ballad titled “IF THINGS GO WELL” that is on his current CD. He doesn't just sing the notes; he wraps his voice around them. His goal, he states, is to bring out "a soulful sound of singing country". After hearing him, it becomes apparent this will be another goal he has attained.
No illusions - what you see is what you get, with Jay Henley and he polishes off the show with undeniable talent.
