My photographic education includes courses at the University of Alabama, University of California at Santa Barbara, The George Washington University, Northern Virginia Community College, and the Washington School of Photography.  My work has been published in Apogee Photo Magazine, Blue Ridge Country Magazine,  Country Magazine, Eldertreks Tours catalogs, International Travel News, Photo Techniques, and Presbyterians Today. I am an active art show participant in the Eastern Virginia area.

    Although I specialize in outdoor and travel subjects for publication, I also am currently fascinated with very vivid color for personal satisfaction.

    Because I believe that a picture is the expression of an impression, my goal is to make images that are interpretive representations of a destination, not just a straight “this is what it looks like” shot.
