In December 2013 I was looking for a couple things.  First, I was looking for a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law.  Second, I was looking for a way to make some extra money to help with the monthly bills.  I really was looking for something in the direct selling industry, but I didn't want just anything.  I am a big believer in loving what you sell.  When I found my mother-in-law's Christmas gift in a Scentsy warmer, I knew I had found my business venture too.  I had been a Scentsy customer for a long time, but I never considered being a consultant until that point.  So I guess I can thank mom-in-law for where I am today.

I joined the Scentsy family in January 2014 and signed my first team member within 6 months.  Today, Scentsy is a great additional income, and my mother-in-law is one of my best customers.  It has even become a "family" business with my daughter helping me go through my business supplies... and she and my husband love to smell all the new scents and give me their opinions on which scents go best together.  It is definitely a family affair.  I am always looking to grow my business.  Who knows, maybe my daughter can take over for me one day!
