HEARTBEAT BRAZIL, founded in 2014, is a brazilian music showcase featuring mostly original material as well as some select covers which have been lovingly arranged by multi-instrumentalist and bandleader Stephan Oberhoff.

ORIGINAL BRAZILIAN MUSIC WITH JAZZ AND WORLD MUSIC INFLUENCES!
The standout feature of this act is that they not only use an eclectic setup in their instrumentation (see below) but also provide a deeply immersive experience by utilizing videos and synchronized lighting !
This act is "expandable", it is capable of creating a cinemascope sound image with just the core quartet -- but CAN (depending on budget) unfold its enormous visceral power by featuring up to 8 musicians!
The players in HEARTBEAT BRAZIL are stellar: Stephan Oberhoff (known as musica director for Brenda Russell, Melissa Manchester, Jason Gould and others) on keyboards/guitar/vocals/percussion; Robert Kyle: Sax/flute/percussion; Simon Carroll on percussion and drums and featured instrumentalist Matt Cooker on violoncello.
International performing artist Stephan is known worldwide through his extensive work as musical director for acts such as Melissa Manchester, Brenda Russell, Jason Gould and his extensive recording and composition credits.
Most of HEARTBEAT BRAZIL's material was written or co-written by Stephan Oberhoff.
HEARTBEAT BRAZIL will play a wide range of brazilian and brazilian jazz compositions, deeply heartfelt and emotional, and will invite you to sing along and participate in the tribal chants, since in Brazil, the rhythm is almost never left to itself but provides momentum to the message communicated by means of the chant.
