Hey there! My name is Melanie Campbell and I am a mixed media artist. Everything I create comes from somewhere within. All of what I create has a positive message... "Be yourself", "Be Brave", "Never give up" etc. I have been creating for three years, but my love for art as a creative outlet came at my darkest hour. I lost my daddy a little over a year ago. It was sudden, and it was sad,, I struggled every minuite of every day & I felt lost, I felt yucky from the inside out, and was truly lost beyond words.
I created everyday, and it's safe to say that my love for creating art began to heal me. I knew that there were others in my life who could use a gentle reminder of the simple messages that life has to offer. I've sold over twenty- four pieces of my art. I find so much happiness in knowing that a very small piece of my heart is hanging on a strangers wall.
So, MelCisme is in the works. I want to inspire everyone who meets me & sees my art pieces... that YES, life is hard, challenging and can be filled with many ups & downs, but making the decission on loving your life anyway is YOUR CHOICE. As my daddy always said..."Mel, be greatful because your situation could ALWAYS be worse." I feel that finding the positive in EVERYDAY can make a change in EVERYONE of us.
