Antique elements in Modern Fashion
A few years ago I took a jewelry
making class at a local high school
and learned how to hand bead.
I was enthralled with this craft. Already a
collector of antique porcelain brooches and
buttons, I incorporated these unique pieces
into my necklaces for modern wear.
Fine Jewelry
To enhance my jewelry makingskills,
I studied at Studio Jewelers, Ltd,
in NY City and graduated as a Bench Jeweler.
Besides creating beaded necklaces I am working
on a fine jewelry collection.
Fashion Design & Millinery
My background is in fashion.
I graduated from The French Fashion Academy
in NY City, and took postgraduate Millinery courses
at The Fashion Institute of Technology.
For many years I had a business designing and sewing
one of a kind dance costumes for competitive dancers.
