My 99 year old Mother taught my sister and I how to make baskets many years ago using pine needles. Over the years we have incorporated our own hobbies into the art by using pottery and painting on wood surfaces and weaving the pine needles around these items. I have been doing this seriously for about 10 years. I do not have a storefront but do this out of my house and make it a family affair by traveling to many craft shows throughout the area. My daughter is now making baskets and beautiful dream catchers and doing shows with me.
