ScamponeAudio is "ART THAT MAKES NOISE"
Mike Scampone is a Self-Taught artist. He is humble in even using the term "artist" .
However through the incredible support of his family, friends and colleagues he has come to grips and Mike is ready to call himself an Artist!
It began when Mike would use drawing as a treatment (therapy) when trying to crack a nicotine addiction in 2012. Mike ran into a wall of sorts and could no longer effectively draw to his satisfaction. With and acrylic starter kit he received for the December holiday in 2013; a "portal" was opened into the wonderful world of painting.
Mike , ScamponeAudio works solely in Abstract, what he likes to refer to as ABSTRACT- Abstract Painting. His paintings are Very Contemporary Designs, extremely BOLD in color, and have FUN exuding from the work!! You can almost hear the sounds emanating from the paper and canvas!! The term ScamponeAudio, actually stems from his career as a radio producer. When looking at his art , the art sings to you , opens your mind - like a great song!! Calling art audio may seem strange, but for him , for ScamponeAudio its the Perfect Fit!
