“Spending time in nature and appreciating the beauty around me has always been an inspiration
for my paintings. I have been exploring the themes of rivers, cliffs and canyons in my artwork
for some time. These themes spring from many adventures I have enjoyed rafting and hiking
in the wilderness. I let my images speak to me on an intuitive level while I paint my emotiona
l response to nature. The colors, shapes, smells and sounds combine in special moments outside
of time. I try to capture these moments with the spontaneity and beauty of painting.
