I grew up one of 10 children, 8 girls,2 boys. (7SisterStudio) I loved to sit next to my mother while she created beautiful clothing for her family. One afternoon she and I walked to my Aunt Janes house. Aunt Jane showed my mother how to create a childs coat from an adult coat she got at a thrift store. I was "hooked". I began sewing and creating as a young girl and have never slowed down! I go on many "treasure hunts" through local thrift stores to create my skirts and hats.
