My shop features my own hand made jewelry and imported Haitian art and jewelry. All items are hand made by me, or by friends in Haiti. I make jewelry in various styles: tropical, western, wire crocheted and upcycled. Upcycled: I go to Estate sales and buy old jewelry which I remake. These items are always one of a kind pieces. Tropical: this jewelry features Larimar, known as Caribbean turquoise, a semi-precious stone found only in the Dominican Republic. There are other less expensive pieces using shells, mother of pearl, and pearls. Western: features agate, magnasite (manufactured turquoise) and other natural stones. I import many beautiful Metal Art pieces from Haiti, wall hangings, Nativities, Christmas ornaments and many other lovely things made from 100% recycled metal oil drums. The Haitian art and jewelry helps families make a living wage and obtain health care in Haiti.
