This unique wind chime/suncatcher is the American Flag. Be a proud citizen and hang this in your window, porch, wall or anywhere. The colors are red, white and blue with red white and blue chimes. This windchime would look wonderful in any home, window, porch or wall. A perfect gift for you, a friend, house warmings, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, holidays, your hostess, 4th of July, or just because!
It's best seen in a window or covered porch but can be hung on a wall for a totally different look. There are 3 chimes which are connected by fishing swivels for easy removing.
.**Remember these are glass and can break. If you are in a high wind area, best place the chime in a protected area such as your covered porch or inside.
***Each piece is hand cut by me with a hand cutter including all the small pieces. The base is clear. I then cut the flag out and add white frit for the stars. The stainless steel rings are made and placed between 2 pieces of glass to secure them. I put it in my kiln for approximately 24 hours to meld the layers into one while keeping the texture. I then slump it to give it its wavy shape by placing the piece over a wavy mold and putting it back into the kiln for another 24 hours. I clean and hand polish it and it's ready for you.
Because I hand cut each piece, each sheet of glass is unique and the kiln process, no two are identical.
A chain is included for easy hanging.
Size: approximately 11 X 3.5 inches with the chimes adding another 4 to 5 inches.
Care and cleaning instructions: It is recommended to hand wash with warm water and a non abrasive soap and cloth. You can also use a non abrasive window cleaner.
DO NOT HANG WITH SUCTION CUPS!! This is too heavy and fluctuations of weather could make the suction cup faulty. Please note: The online photos will give you the general idea of the color and texture of each piece.
