Alberton will present its annual Railroad Day to once again recall its glory years when the town was a crew chain point and a passenger stop on The Milwaukee Road. During the day, there will be a model railroad exhibit, games for the children and many vendors offering their wares. Food and drink will be copiously available.

Governor’s Plan to reopen:
Phase 2 to begin June 1, will allow restaurants, bars, casinos, gyms, pools to operate with 75 percent capacity. Concerts, bowling alleys can operate with reduced capacity.
Mask Mandates:
Requirement. Requires businesses and other indoor spaces to ensure masks are worn by employees and members of the public and requires masks for outdoor activities of 50 or more people, including schools. Applies to counties with 4 or more active cases.
Mass Gathering Restrictions:
Groups of up to 50 allowed beginning June 1.
