Governor’s Plan to reopen:

As of January 20, 2021, Idaho has a four-phase reopening plan, and Idaho is currently in stage 2 of that plan. The plan provides reopening guidelines during the 4 Phases of reopening in the state.

Mask Mandates:

Although as of January 20, 2021 there is no general, statewide mask mandate across Idaho. Nevertheless, use of face coverings by the general public is strongly recommended, and face coverings are mandatory in a number of sector-specific settings. Further, employers should identify how personal use items such as masks, face coverings, and gloves may be required by employees, vendors, and patrons.

Mass Gathering Restrictions:

As of January 20, 2021 and into the foreseeable future, all gatherings of more than 10 persons not from the same household are prohibited in Idaho. This prohibition does not extend to gatherings for political or religious expression, as well as those for education and education-adjacent extra-curricular activities.
