A Silk Purse
Vintage-Inspired, original-design, one-of-a-kind jewelry and accessories are created using re-purposed vintage jewelry parts & pieces, vintage buttons, stampings, filigree, stones, beads, chain and findings as well as new, reproduction and old stock components.
Each piece is individually conceived, curated and created by hand using basic jewelry making skills and assemblage techniques often utilizing a variety of mixed media such as paint, ink, patina, adhesives, resin, wax, cold enamel, glass glitter, mica, torch, fabric, trims, ribbon, paper and leather.
Each original design is created with a sense of true pride and an appreciation of mixing old with new; designed to make the wearer feel special; to experience the unique depth of beauty that comes from artisan jewelry and time-worn elements.
Self taught, I am a creative with an eye, a vision, an idea, a design, a finished piece. I see beauty, inspiration and potential in uncommon places and in unique things.
