about - Angles & Edges
I started helping my father do woodworking when I was eight years old. I really enjoyed helping him and seeing what his creations would turn in to. That's how I developed a passion for woodworking. When I was a little older I started doing projects on my own, whether it be at school or out in the garage just to pass the winter months. Woodworking is something I never seem to get tired of or bored with. I started to receive request for craft items and even some small remodeling jobs. I always accepted the jobs as it was a way to pass the winter months but never charged anything. Eventually I met my wife, Kate, who also grew up with her father being an avid woodworker. So we teamed up to start making items and sharing ideas. We ended up having so many family and friends impressed with our work, they couldn't believe we weren't charging for it. So finally we decided to give it a shot and start our own business. We don't currently have much in the way of equipment, just three power tools and a few hand tools in a small corner of our garage. With our desire and passion for woodworking, we hope to be able to grow into a bigger better business. We recently expanded into glass painting, making decorative Wine bottle Citronella Torches, flower vases and mason jar banks. Kate also enjoys sewing, making bags and purses, designed for the working mom.
