Ann Meadows is a singer/songwriter, vocalist, guitarist, and percussionist whose musical range encompasses Americana, Blues, Folk, Country and Rock.
Ann's accolades include opening for Doc Watson's 20 year side kick- Jack Lawrence, Jim Avett, country singer songwriter and father of the famous Avett Brothers, and flat top picker Tommy Edwards., all well known North Carolina icons. Ann is just coming off of a short fall tour with International Recording/Blues Artists and Producer Tommy McCoy. Ann has been a finalist in the Country Music Showdown's Songwriting contest and the Carolina Country Music Festival's choice for battle of the bands.
Whether alone with her 12 string guitar or on stage with her duo or band "Tanglewood"; Ann Meadows gives a part of herself. Her songs will stay with you, in your mind and in your heart. Her vocal prowess is spot on and can take you where ever she wills in a song. Many say that Ann is another Judd you just haven't met yet.
