I am a modern artist who specializes in colored pencil and acrylic paintings. I have done oils in the past and inks. I also have done paper mache. I have been doing some kind of art all my life but, painting in the last 30 years. I started by giving gifts of my work. then one day someone offered me 100.00 for a painting I did. so I began to see the potential of sales.
I grew up in the west and came to Florida 25 years ago. I have been a resident off and on since then. I went out of state for a few forays in mass. and pa. But never stayed long. I always considered Florida my home.
I have done no formal art training. all of my skills were learned by trial and error. I also watched a few videos on youtube. I have an associates degree in fashion design and another in business management. I have always been drawn to brightness, positivity, childlike innocence and animals and flowers. I consider myself a colorist,modern, pop art, and cubism.
