A percentage of profits generated from art and craft sales will channel directly into one of three existing charities. Arte for Elephants is not a 503(c) charity we are a "for purpose" endeavor committed to working with well established and successful charities already on the ground, making a difference for the lives of elephants all over the world.
Our vision for the future is to support local residents in developing countries (particularly women) who are impacted by elephants through offering them fair trade employment opportunities to create arts and crafts for sale.

Born from one family's passion for Kenya and its wilderness, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is today the most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world and one of the pioneering conservation organizations for wildlife and habitat protection in East Africa.
Opened in 1995 The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee is the largest habitat/refuge for African and Asian Elephants in the US. The Sanctuary provides captive elephants a natural habitat, and individualized care and the opportunity to live out their lives with individualized care in a safe haven dedicated to their well being.
Brought into the spotlight last year with the amazing rescue of Raju (the crying elephant) this organization is having a real impact on the lives of captive elephants in India. They are dedicated to rescuing all of the abused and mistreated circus elephants in India and providing them with proper medical care, treatment and a rich natural home in sanctuary. This group has had major success in ending the cruel practice of dancing bears in India.
GLOBAL SANCTUARY FOR ELEPHANTS- Brazil South America has largely banned the use of elephants in circuses and zoos, which is fantastic, however currently there is not a sanctuary to house the retired elephants. Many elephants languish in small zoos or humane societies waiting for Sanctuary to be built! Thankfully the G.S.E has purchased 2700 acres in Brazil and is currently breaking ground on a state of the art, chain free sanctuary. We are proud to support this work.
