Moses was the man to lead God's children from pharoah's hand
with their backs against the sea, they knew not what their faith would be

But they cried yes dear Lord, I need thy hand to lead me to the promised land

Stand still and do not fear, thy salvation draweth near. 
then the water opened wide, when God held the raging tide

and they cried yes dear Lord, I need thy hand to lead me to the promised land

I was lost and in my sin, I had no hope, no joy within
Then he washed my sins away, when I called upon his name
