WIND FLOWERS

Wind flowers are the newest product that can be added to an outdoor display
of yard color.  They are created in two styles: "In the Bud" or "In full Bloom". 
"In the Bud" style features one set of colored flower petals inside a second set
of green petals beneath. Those "In full Bloom" feature an inner set of colored
petals and a different colored set of outer petals in such a way that the second
set "droop" beneath the first set above. All flowers have three green stems that
flow in the breeze.  We have already named some of the color combinations
such as African violet (purple/green), California poppy (yellow/orange),
carnation (pink/white), daffodil (orange/yellow), daisy (yellow/Spanish yellow),
white daisy (white/yellow), iris (white/yellow), lily (white/green), pansy
(pink/green), rose (red/red), sunflower (brown/yellow) or your preference. 
All flower combinations are available in two sizes: small- about 6 inches in
diameter by 30" long and large- about 8 inches in diameter by 42 inches long.
Either size wind flower can be displayed in a garden from a Shepard hook while
the smaller one can be fastened to a garden flag holder.

GARDEN FLAGS

Our garden flags are made of flag nylon to withstand the out of doors weather conditions.  Many of the designs were formerly car flags that have been repurposed into garden flags.  Others are appliqued with designs including seasonal holidays including Valentines, St. Patricks Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  One called three star holiday is used for Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day.  We have reduced the width of the top sleeve to 5/8 inch so it is less likely to be pushed off its stand in a windy day. A rubber band positioned across the end of the stand also prevents the banner from sliding off.

TRADITIONAL WINDSOCKS

Traditional windsocks with a patterned top above six colorful streamers are still
in demand, but hard to find on-line or in stores.  Banners Plus offers a large
selection of team, sport, seasonal, military, and patriotic windsocks in two sizes
and choice of fabric.  All nylon ones are recommended for outdoor use while 
the printed cotton top ones look great in a rec room or college dorm room.

Large 60" w/s are approximately 48 inches of fabric tethered by three braided
12 inch nylon lines fastened to a brass swivel.  Mini 27" w/s are approximately
18 inches of fabric tethered by 9 inches of nylon line fastened to a brass swivel.
Large windsocks have hemmed streamers while the mini's have a sealed edge.
 
The smaller mini windsocks are also called Ceiling Fan Windsocks that can be
attached to the string of a ceiling fan (not on the blades) to give it some motion
as if it were hung outdoors.  They have been seen on golf carts, sailboats, and
even strollers.

Our newest all nylon windsock has a basket weave design throughout including
the top.  Two styles/prices are available for the streamers: plain or corded with
a black bias tape edging on all edges.  The edged one is $39.95 and the plain
one is $34.95. Please indicate your choice via email. I will mail you a $5 rebate
check if you choose the one without the cording.

Most windsocks are made of a printed cotton fabric that can be displayed in-doors
or out-doors although it's best to display them out of the weather.  I've actually
had two customers at two different craft shows say that they kept their team wind
sock outdoors for up to six years!! The inks today are incredible.  

Most windsocks are mailed in a large envelope; no assembly required.

BOOTH BANNER

In a crowded craft show, customers often forget where they saw an item
that they later decide to return to that booth that was located "somewhere".
You can easily discriminate your booth from the rest by adding a booth banner
across the front of your booth.  The $85 price includes a combination of 36 
large and small letters to be added to the banner via hot pressing. 

A typical 2 foot by 7 foot banner can be designed from flag nylon fabric with
a choice of 3 or 5 inch letters in a number of colors including black, white, red,
and blue.  Other colors may become available.  The nylon flag colors number
over a dozen to choose from. A one inch sleeve is formed along the top edge.
The remaining three sides are hemmed to prevent raveling of the nylon.

A fifteen foot nylon cord is provided for attachment to your booth by using
Velcro straps to attach a 36-48 inch long dowel to the front legs of your booth.
As an option, I have used PVC tubing with a U bolt to provide a "pole" above
my front two booth legs for displaying a booth banner.  The purchaser is
responsible for providing the means of attachment to the booth.

The banner is washable in cold water with a mild soap.  Other features may 
be added to the banner at an extra cost.  Normal delivery is 3 to 4 weeks

STREET BANNERS

Banners Plus is a distributor of Street Banners that are often displayed by cities and towns to celebrate an anniversary or advertise an upcoming event.  A wide variety of sizes are available as well as choices of marine canvas or 18 ounce vinyl.  They are usually printed in one of two ways: silk screen in a traditional way in canvas or via digital printing on vinyl that opens up multiple colors without the need of a separate screen for each color.  Common sizes are 18, 22, or 24 inches wide by 36, 40, and 48 inches long.  They are printed on both sides.

ADDING MOTION TO BOOTH

As the videos show, motion can be added inside and outside your booth at a craft show.  I can supply Motion Motors that uses a D-cell battery to power it.  The items to be given the motion must be capable of being suspended from the shaft powered by the motor.  The shaft has a hole in it for a connection to your display items.  I connect the shaft to a one inch size PVC coupling that allows a pressure fit of a 1 inch diameter PVC tube that has three dowels inserted at 60 degree angle separation for suspension of garden flags or wind flowers.  It could also be connected to a horizontal circular disk that can rotate items suspended from it.  The price of a motion motor w/o battery is $19.95 each/shipping is $2 extra.
