I am primarily a metalsmith. In my designs I use sheet metal, wire, some cast parts, semi-precious stones, rocks, shells, & recycled objects. I solder,set & polish all my work with my own hands.
I was born in Peru where I started metalsmithing at 14, went to art school at SUNY New Paltz NY, Urbino Italy and later apprenticed in Lexington MA & Oslo Norway. I have been making my craft for a living my entire life, starting in my 20s. My work is a fusion of all the places where I have lived including Martha's Vineyard where I have lived the longest.
