Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum

We are a non-profit historical society dedicated to preserving the history, culture, and art of Chappell Hill, in Washington County, Texas.

The Chappell Hill Historical Society's mission is:

• To encourage the preservation of records, buildings, sites and other items of historical interest to the community.
• To educate the general public as to the historical significance of the same.

The Chappell Hill Historical Society supports their 501c3 non-profit organization through hosting two festivals each year. We have the Bluebonnet Festival the second weekend of April and the Scarecrow Festival during the second weekend in October. We are the week after the Round Top Antique Show, and there are vendors that make this region of Texas a profitable trip by vending at both festivals and antique shows, and enjoying the days in between them to view the local attractions.

Our Festival is family-friendly and well managed. We have been organizing these festivals for the past 50+ years and each year the festivals grow. We advertise our festivals throughout the state, as well as nationally through social media, print, and web advertising.

LOCATION

Chappell Hill, Texas is located on Hwy. 290 between Houston and Austin
