All my life I have the love of creating something from all kinds of materials. When I was 10yrs. Old,
i made Christmas trees using tulle fabric. I sold many of them to my neighbors. I have always loved using beads, rhinestones and sequins. Embroidery, using wire or gluing them, I love using different
textures to create art. I have built a substantial business making crystal suncatchers. But I now am
using crystals and all kind of beads to make jewelry, and using wire to make seed beaded trees.
I have done small and large trade shows all over the country, but my favorite shows are the local
ones where I can spend time talking to people about my art. That's the best times.
Making Art is the most exciting, yet relaxing thing I have ever done. And the more I create,
the more ideas come to me.
The dress below I made using a metal dress form. It has octagon shaped crystals on the top.
with glass pearls and round crystals, I made a bolero jacket over the bodice.Fringe hanging from the jacket using gold chain and crystal beads finishes the effect. The Ballgown was made using scrapebook paper that I cut into flower shapes, and each one is beaded. It was done in a rainbow
pattern. It took six months to create
