Dana has recently retired from teaching and is enjoying her creative roots. With a BA in ART and Textile Design, Dana has been designing a variety of projects in sewing, felting, and handpainting. Of special interest, her signature recycled wool fingerless gloves made from old sweaters and embellished with appliques and buttons has grown to include wool and cotton skirts.
Dana continues to hand paint on fabric. Her spring line will include darling dresses for little girls and terrific leisure wear for adults. Her biggest seller in 2012, were her handpainted grow charts on fabric banners.
