Spring is an exciting time of year for artists and crafters, for so many reasons.
Besides the nicer weather, it’s also the time you get to exhibit your work at area craft fairs and art shows.
This gives you the amazing opportunity to interact with other artists, as well as potential customers.
It’s your chance to gain firsthand knowledge of your target market.
And...it’s also a great time to see how your work stacks up against other artists in your region.
And what better way to do so than by entering your work in a juried art fair?
As this new season kicks into high gear, you may be wondering how you can find the best art fair to enter your work.
Should you check out the Orlando Fair? Do any of the music festivals in Texas feature juried art shows?
We provide the search tools you need to find all the juried art fairs you want, quickly and easily.
Your FestivalNet Pro membership comes with the ability to find specific, targeted information about art shows with just a few clicks.
As a Pro Member, you can open up a screen that looks like this, the member's Pro Search area!
We always encourage members to explore this page. There are SO many ways to search! Remember the more options you pick, the less results you will see! So, start broadly, then, go back and get more specific. Try out the zip code radius function - about how far as the crow flies you are willing to travel from your home base!
To pick Juried only events, simply check that option under "exhibitors". Doing this will choose any event that has selected their event is juried. No need to select event type too when you click the JURIED option!
That’s it! Just press “Enter” and voila. You have all the juried art shows in your area. Always remember to double check all data with the show promoter as details and dates can change.
This is by far the easiest way to pinpoint juried art shows. However, if you do not yet have a Pro Membership, there are a few workarounds. While they take more time and effort, you can still find the specific information you’re looking for.
For example, if you want to find juried art shows in Georgia during the month of September, simply choose “Georgia” and “September” from the dropdown menu, and then check the “Juried Events” box. The search will yield a long list of possibilities including the First Friday Art Walk, the Made In Georgia Festival, and the North Georgia State Fair (just to name a few).
If you have a particular art show or fair in mind, it’s easy to locate information about it on FestivalNet.
If you are a member, use the 'key word' search right on our pro search form and click the 'show name' option.
If you are not a member you can use the search bar at the top of the homepage.
If you want to learn about the Central Florida Fair (as one example), simply type it in next to the magnifying glass icon.
A popup will appear with the search results. Just scroll past the ads to find FestivalNet entries for that specific fair. Navigating to one of these entries immediately gives you all the information you need, including whether or not it is a juried art fair. (In this case, it isn’t.)
A membership to FestivalNet saves you valuable time! A free basic membership lets you try out the members search before you commit. Simply go to our membership info page. Read about our services there and choose the basic or pro member join button at the bottom of the page.
