Fidler's Fancies & Such was the brain-child of my wonderful wife, Dana, and is my personal tribute to my late father, Kenneth M. Fidler, Sr. We are not a business or even a large venture by any stretch of the imagination. We are a couple that enjoys crafting as a hobby and any money we are fortunate enough to make will get recycled back into buying additional supplies! Look for us to start participating in craft shows in the Columbia and surrounding areas soon!
When my father passed away in 2005, he left me with his vast collection of tools and craft projects that he was unable to complete due to his illness. I told my mother at the time of his passing that at an appropriate time, I would take possession of the tools, crafts and supplies that were to be given to me. Finally, in March of 2011, I made the trip to Pennsylvania to collect some of those items that he left for me. I had also told my mother that at a given point in time, I would begin to work on completing those items that dad couldn't get done. Additionally, I would try and sell these items along with those crafts that he had already completed. Finally, after 8 months of doing my best to live up to my father's wood-working ability, I have begun to complete and sell those items that my father left for me. I have also explored my creative side and completed a few of my own projects and have also begun to sell some of these items.
