Adam Pate's Something Fun and Different Entertainment Company represents many unique WORLD CLASS novelty and variety entertainers. We specialize in combining art and what is usually considered childrens entertainment into adult event situations for parties, festivals, trade shows and promotions. It's been discovered that attractions that offer an immersive artistic interaction experience are consistantly considered the most popular and memorable items offered at community events. All of our artistic novelty acts have material appropriate to interact with guests of any age group, and several of them are one of a kind, including a full tent setup with a vaudeville theater and comedy troupe!
The owner of the agency, Adam Pate, is the originator of the Speed Sketch Caricature. He is a nationally known caricature artist who is the fastest and friendliest caricature artist in world. Regulary drawing around 200 people in 3 hours, while strolling. He encourages audience interaction while drawing and brings a sign with a timer on for visability and showmanship if he is stationary, or he can bring a unique mobile easel/cart, complete with an umbrella for visibility if strolling throughout a large public event
We also offer large scale, mural sized public coloring projects. LETS ALL COLOR! can create custom coloring page artwork (and a color key) that will be printed on gigantic sheets of paper. Set out some crayons and let the fun begin! Space is left around the artwork for people to sign their names and leave messages. Once the artwork is all colored in, it can be replaced with a fresh coloring page sheet! The artwork can be reprinted as many times as needed so that a new mural can be hung after they get used up. We can even ship you the pages so that you can set it up yourself, which makes it a very easy and economical attraction once the artwork has been produced.
Artists can paint large murals live on site also. Give us a theme and let us go to town! The public is encouraged to watch the artwork develop. The artists can paint fast or slowly, depending on your needs and after the artwork is finished, you may purchase it or it can be auctioned off!
Artists can set up and paint live at your event so that your guests can enjoy watching them create the artwork. What will they paint? Your event! Your guests! (They can also paint from photos from your event in the studio.) Again, the artwork can then be purchased or auctioned.
