My development as a visual artist has reflected my passion for capturing the beauty of natural and cultural places. My recent work has focused on studies that capture fleeting light, movement and gesture, influence by field studies and gesture drawing. Travel and work have taken me overseas and across Canada. My paintings are influenced by my travels, and my love of Algonquin Park where I began my canoe adventures in the 70's.
