I make framed art using thread painting, aka. free motion machine embroidery to create detail over my original watercolor and acrylic paintings of birds and tropical or western landscapes. My focus is new materials and concepts to push the boundaries of art working with a variety of fabrics, using a sewing machine to create images by applying thread and moving the fabric under the needle.
