I grew up in a small town in Southwest Michigan. My interest in music started at a young age, but frustration in learning to read music wore me down. Eventually I started learning new methods of reading music, learning cover songs, and singing along with them, which was a great way for me to relax and clear my mind from whatever was happening in real life. When friends and family started enjoying listening, it made me want to learn more and more. After high school I went to college to study Engineering, but I still didn't treat my music as more than a stress release until I won a talent show my Freshman year. After that I started playing weekly open mic nights and writing songs. I spent most of my free time at a family cottage that brought me endless inspiration for my music. I currently play live weekly and do whatever I can to share my music with the world.
