The John Paul Jones Group formed at the end of December 1998 leading into January 1999 from the remnants of the progressive rock band Jp's Eternia. Under John-Paul “Jp” Jones leadership, the John-Paul Jones Group has quickly established itself as one of the midwest most exciting heavy blues performing artists.
The John-Paul Jones Group performs heavy blues material from all eras along with original material written by members of the group. The group invokes references to Rory Gallagher, Jimi Hendrix, and Robin Trower among others… Their stage show consists of a colorful and energetic presentation along with great musical performances—the way heavy blues is supposed to be played. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
TALENT: John-Paul Jones Group musicians consisting at a minimum Guitar Bass Drums Vocals and at the discretion of artist multi-instrumentalist Jp Jones may choose to add keyboards into the set. The set length for this pricing sheet includes a single performance up to 90 minutes in length to end no later than 9pm on the date of performance and to start no earlier than 3pm on date of performance.
SOUND: Artist will provide its sound reinforcement system for the event including all setup gear down and operation required equipment. Access to the venue must be no later than 5 hours prior to the time of the performance to insure adequate soundcheck and operation of equipment. A 20amp 120VAC power connection is required within 5 feet of the stage and within 5 feet of the sound technician position and must be supplied by 12awg conductors. To meet National Electrical code standards. No more than 3% voltage drop is permitted the electrical circuit should supply the sound lighting only on the night of performance.
LIGHTS: Artist shall provide is own theatrical lighting system consisting of automated lighting and manually controlled lighting. It shall be supported on artist provided support. A 20amp 120VAC power connection is required within 5 feet of the stage and must be supplied by 12awg conductors. To meet National Electrical code standards. No more than 3% voltage drop is permitted the electrical circuit should supply the stage lighting only on the night of performance. Lighting requirements will be determined by artist and lighting tech.
STAGE: Artist shall provide its mobile stage system. Stage system delivery setup and teardown are included on the price up to 100 miles of delivery from the 52501 zip code. The use of the stage is exclusive for John-Paul Jones Group performance only. If you desire to use the stage for other performers. There are additional terms fess and conditions. Generally this is not done due to liability and insurance reasons. Please contact H&J Entertainment if you wish us to allow additional performers on the stage.
DELIVERY FREIGHT: Each pricing level includes delivery of personnel and equipment up to 100 miles distance from the 52501 zip code. Mileage is determined using a zip code to zip code directions on Google Maps. Additional mileage will be included in your event specific estimate/proposal.
LODGING: Lodging is not included with any of these prices and will be invoiced to the client if required. All performances ending after 9pm and/or further than 150 miles from 52501 area code require lodging arrangements to be paid for by the client in the form of a buyout or direct payment to lodging provider. Lodging costs if required will be included within your event specific estimate/proposal.
MEALS: All prices include a meal cost buyout estimate for talent and staff for performances that do not require overnight accommodations. If additional costs are required they will be included in your event specific estimate/proposal.
