Expressing the nature and excitement of life with texture in paint, silk, and clay. My art is in homes from across the US as well as in Canada and in Mexico. Art commissions on canvas included a book cover painting. I used my computer graphic skills to design and format an Irish medieval book. I am a CA resident with a four-season Minnesota soul.
Some of my favourite impressions: the roar of Minnehaha falls (Minnesota), the wild flowers and brush seen along the highway, as I drove to California, the various colors and textures in the mountainous rock formations can be seen in my art. Whether in paint, ceramics, or mixed media. The vastness of nature, colors in a sunset, decay of a tree, the shimmer of oil floating on water. Then the rhythm of folk and blues weaves it's way threw the colors, This is my art.
