Ken is a Regional artist from the state of Alabama, and lives in Montevallo with his wife, Faye and three children. He has received numerous awards for songs he has co-written such as: "Dancing in the Spirit", "When Christmas Was Homemade, and "Holy Cross". His songs have made several of the Country Gospel charts with his single "A Family Once More" on the "Christian Country Music Association Top 100" chart. Ken and his wife, Faye, received "Rising Star Award" in 2001 for their song "I'll Stand Up for Jesus" written after the Columbine High School shooting.

Ken's "signature song" is a Christmas Song entitled "Beneath The Talmadge Bridge" written by Walter Hammond. The song and multi-award winning video have continued to air on various radio and TV networks since 2004 in the USA and overseas. The song is one of a few songs officially endorsed in writing by an entity of The Salvation Army. The video was made possible by the volunteer efforts of the Film and TV Dept. of Savannah College of Art & Design under the direction of Ryan Schelor. The primary character, the homeless man, was performed by Phillip Brand a local Savannah talent.

The video stayed in rotation for over a year on "GAC" Great American Country's "Positively GAC" national TV broadcast and aired 225 times on the "GMTN" Gospel Music Television Network during the 2004 Christmas Season. The song itself hit all of the Christian Country Charts and was 1 during the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Christmas Seasons on Gospel Classics that broadcasts to a listening audience of 20 million listeners. Ken is a recording artist with God's Child Records in Nashville, TN and is a member of the "Music City Christian Fellowship". Served as Vice-President of the "Alabama Country and Gospel Music Association" for 5 years and a member writer with "ASCAP". Ken also hosted "Country Praise" television on cable T. V.
