Moving to Las Vegas from New York in 1987, Kevon Tyrre began his love of music at the age of 15. At 17, he confirmed his talent by signing up for high school choir and ended up enrolled in the choir for Clark County for that year(1993). After college, Kevon Tyrre began competing in singing competitions, however, due to personal issues, he began an self destructive cycle which lead to incarceration in 2006. This would prove a positive force for him, by sharpening his skills in singing, songwriting and overall confidence in himself and his talent. Revitalized upon his release, he has performed alongside Phil Flowers in Aliante Hotel Casino, Orleans Hotel Casino and Silverton Hotel Casino; as frontman in Hennessys, Cheyenne Saloon, First Friday, Gordon Bierch, Fiesta Hotel Casino, Orleans Hotel Casino, Lady Silva, DB's Bar inside Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino, The Venetian/Palazzo, The Silver Nugget Casino, the Artisan Hotel; Riverside Resort(Lauglin,NV) has written or co-wrote lyrics with Hip Hop artist/producer Jay Lovett (THE JAY LOVETT LP now available online), Producer DJ Torch and for local acts, partook in a online singing competition and interviewed by JLLNRadio and KLAV radio. A true force of energy and soul, Kevon Tyrre is the embodiment of not letting anything, not even yourself, hold you back.
