I work in a small studio in Southern Maine. My own designs are generally minimalistic, rustic, and hand hewn--at times, intentionally raw and non-traditional. I use hand tools for cutting, refining and most finishing. While I accept custom requests, I do not cast or engrave. I am drawn to the organic nature of metal. I love to hammer and create texture, and think in terms of miniature works and sculptures that might be created by farriers and blacksmiths. Whenever possible, I use recycled and ethically-sourced materials.
