Creedmoor, North Carolina

The Lord Granville Agricultural Heritage Association was formed in 2006 by 45 charter members to preserve Granville County and the surrounding area's historical farming heritage.  They desired to educate current and future generations by restoring and displaying equipment and agricultural techniques that are part of Granville County's rich agricultural history.  The club encourages family involvement and meets monthly to provide a forum for sharing ideas and common interest.

LGAHA currently holds their Annual Harvest Show on the first weekend in October on a 39 acre track of land where members and exhibitors display and demonstrate tools, equipment and crafts used by farm families to survive and prosper.  It is located  at the intersections of 12th and West G Street in Butner, NC.  The annual event has  grown each year and continues to be a work in progress as more members join the club and displays are added to provide fun and educational family activities for all attendees. Members also display their collections at other various community and State events.

By holding various fundraising events throughout the year the club offers multiple annual scholarships to graduating seniors of high schools in Granville County and college students  who are majoring in agriculture, home economics or related fields of study.
