I was a retired schoolteacher when I started collecting shells and shark teeth
on the coasts of Florida and making them into jewelry. I was active in Florida
festivals and craft events for several years before moving to Maryland Five years ago. Since I still have jewelry and materials to make more jewelry, I would
like to get involved with festivals and craft events again
I collected shark teeth, and small broken conch seashells from the West coast of Florida. I then washed, polished and wire wrapped them. Some are enhanced with gold leaf and/or crystals. They are then hung on macrame/beaded or chain necklaces.
I use glass, wood, stone, ceramic, and lava stone to make bracelet/earring
sets and aromatherapy bracelets.
The shark teeth are made into necklaces, earrings and key chains.
