My name is Becca Hargis, and I own Luna Luxe Creations. I have had a variety of jobs in my life, but not was more difficult than the job I had of recovery from depression, anxiety, and anorexia. To navigate a full recovery, I had to create thoughtful and creative ways to deal with my changing, self-deprecation, and self-sabotoging ways. My recovery began with creating a spa-like environment to soothe my anxiety with candles and shower steamers. I began experimenting with soaps and wax melts, lotion bars and lip balms to conquer my mental health demons. Though I still find that keeping the thoughts that want to tear me down at bay is still a struggle, I continue to fight, and it is much easier to claim victory when I place my artisan soap or candle in the home of someone who is fighting just as hard as I.
My work is comprised of blistering delicious soy wax candles and wax melts, enchanting room sprays, and a variety of body products including luxurious soaps, showers steamers, lotion bars, and sugar scrubs. From conception to creation to experimentation, my work is born with a view to providing all involved with living their best life possible.
