Marcee's Mittens are Recycled: Fine Wools and Synthetics Lining: Warm Faux Sherpa
When I retired I began pursuing earlier passions; one being sewing. Last winter I made a pair of mittens out of a wool sweater of mine and lined it with faux sherpa for walking my dog . SO WARM! Later my husband wanted a pair and uses them to shovel the snow even when it was -0 degrees! Made more mittens for friends and family .....all loved them! All sweaters are washed in hot water to close the fibers before transforming into mittens. I just participated as a vendor at the Lenexa Spinach Festival and Overland Park Fall Festival.
