"There are no answer books in real life the answer you give is the answer, right or wrong so you must prove it through logic, deduction, and commons sense.” Marty Knox, crime fiction mystery author, mathematician, a voracious reader.

Marty writes a crime fiction mystery series located on Old Route 66 between the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert in Northern Arizona. Minerva Doyle, a cyber-forensic expert, and her husband Marshal Michael Doyle, a retired ATF agent, seek justice for crime victims. Hampered by strict budgets, quirky small-town characters, a vast rugged landscape, and petty bureaucracy they solve mysteries and pit their wits against clever culprits.

Marty Knox lived in Arizona for over 35 years. She worked in newspaper publishing, was a technical writer and illustrator for a satellite company. She also taught college-level computer science, computer programming, web design, and mathematics. Marty is an avid reader with bookshelves and an eBook tablet overflowing with classic and modern mysteries.

Her favorite authors range from the queens and kings of the Golden Age of Mysteries: Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh, Mary Roberts Reinhart, and Arthur Conan Doyle to contemporary writers such as Betty Rowlands, Betty Webb, Donis Casey, and Tony Hillerman.
