My product is unlike anything you have in your show. I recycle exotic wood veneers, cross grain and glue them into a 1/10" thick plywood sheet. It takes 14 days in a press, that I designed, to stabilize and dry. This plywood creates a strong, light weight base that allows me to cut out intricate designs without breaking. Using a cad I design my own earring styles and then cut them out using a ULS laser. Next they go thru a special process that I developed to sand ALL edges and remove all burns marks that the laser left. A natural Danish Oil is then applied and allowed to dry. Silver plated surgical steel finding are added along with natural stone beads. The result is a product with highly figured wood grains that make each pair look different. The earrings are carded with backers and the wood species is listed on the back of the card. They are very popular with women and in 12 shows this year I sold over 800 pair.
The wooden boxes I make are made from Exotic wood from all over the world. The boxes are made with box joints on the corners, finished with 5 coats of polyurethane and felt liners and bottoms.
My nativities are my own designs and are either 3D or intarsia.
