My Drawer Full of T-shirts, LLC was established in 2014 to create with t-shirts by following our mission to utilize our 4 R's: Recycle, Repurpose, Reuse, Recreate. Our quilts are made using a stained glass approach, stitching t-shirts onto fabric, applique style. While one cannot see thru the material as one thinks using the wording “stained glass”, the approach entails carefully laying out t-shirts, backed with fusing material, so they form a cohesive and created look. Each quilt is backed. Creativity is endless for My Drawer Full of T-shirts. Other items made are Wall Art (t-shirts applied to canvased framing), Pillows, Bags, Wall Hangings, Yard Flags, and Pet toys. My Drawer Full of T-shirts is located in northern Indiana. Sewing has been an integral part during my whole life and is a talent I continuously use. Throughout our family years of growing up we had collected not only “a drawer full of t-shirts” but many drawers full of t-shirts having saved memories in the forms of t-shirts from specific events, concerts, school, teams, activities, and favorite past times, something which everyone has done. Custom orders quilts are a favorite. The end result is exciting when one has a personal and unique one-of-a-kind quilt completed. Reactions are priceless...
