The OGFAS has been providing VOLUNTEER EMS service since 1949 .We do it with an operating budget of $30000, all of which is generated by donations and fundraisers. We are a federally recognized 501 C 3 (237170493)
The mission of the Ocean Gate First Aid Squad is to offer
care, nurture, and assistance to the injured, sick, wounded,
disabled and aged persons by providing emergency first aid
treatment and safe transportation to hospitals and or other
designated facilities for advanced medical treatment and care.
Our purpose and objective is to answer emergency calls
from a person or persons in need, and to operate a volunteer
ambulance service
